I have worked closely with Children in Need in a pioneering project bringing dramatherapy directly into schools. This project allowed us to instantly respond to the needs of the young people through COVID and the lockdowns that followed. We were able to offer 1:1 and small group work to those pupils identified as needing extra support. We were also able to offer full class therapeutic workshops to enable as many young people to have a creative place for expression.
I have worked with government officials from Iraq and Kurdistan who were looking into their therapeutic services within their schools and were looking into models that included dramatherapy.
I have run dramatherapy programmes for male refugees in the charity sector.
I was featured on BBC's documentary podcast 'People Fixing the World'. Episode: 'The School That Puts Wellbeing First'.
I studied at Roehampton University and qualified with a Masters in Dramatherapy in 2018.
